Winter in Chengdu

Chengdu, Capital city of Sichuan Province, on my last visit, in the beginning of winter, I enjoyed visiting the reconstructed old part of Chengdu. This part of the old city, I was facinated with the colors and contrast of the yellow to oranger leaves of the ginkgo tree to the rest of the gray background. It was a beautiful site.

Huangguoshu Waterfall---National Park in Guizhou China

On my visit to Guizhou province in China, I went to the well known Huang Guo Shu Waterfall. The visit was fantastic truely magnificent site. I was amazed how popular it is with Chinese people, there were thousands of visitors. Lately I heared that the waterfall has dried because of lack of rain in south west of China. let's hope it will get back to normal when the wet season will commence.

Wynnum Creek

Wynnum Creek is just around the corner from where I live. For quite some time I was planning to paint this pretty spot. Wynnum Creek is a tidal creek, it runs to Moreton Bay. It's used by local for fishing and recreation.
