Wildlife

Oil on canvas 40.5 x 81 cm Each panel (81 x 81 cm in total)

One early morning, a day of fog and haze. i did notice a commotion at a large old gum tree, eucalyptus tree, a young kookaburra sitting and wondering what could he done wrong. As the resident pair of rainbow lorokits were making a big fuss. They must have got a nest in this tree.Attractive and colorful birds are common in the suburbs. Each of this panel can be displayed together or separately.
The kookaburra is related to the kingfisher family, while the rainbow lorokits are one of the many beautiful Australian parrots family.

Forgotten Dreams

 Oil on canvas 51 x 61 cm

Theres an empty, broken house in the valley.By gone time. where small trees have taken roots in the old gutters, and inside.A place that has been deserted for years.A place that once you could hear the sound of people and animals. That was  long time ago,the place where footprints of man and his broken dreams are taken over by magical tapestry of nature.

Cherry Blossom -Shanghai

Oil on canvas 51 x 61 cm

Cherry blossom at People's Park, Shanghai. At the end of a winter, the sun was out for short time,There were many people in the park. enjoying the blossom of the cherry trees. The only bird you can find were those in cages, made out of strips of bamboo and hung on the trees. What a shame. I painted Pekin Robin,as the bird is very popular and kept by many people.
